Italian football powerhouse Juventus have parted ways with manager Thiago Motta after just nine months at the helm, appointing Croatian Igor Tudor as his successor.
Motta, a former Italy international, leaves the club with Juventus sitting just one point outside the Champions League qualification spots in fifth place.
His tenure ended following a disappointing 3-0 loss to Fiorentina last weekend, which came on the heels of a 4-0 home defeat to Atalanta the previous week.
Under Motta, Juventus also suffered a setback in European competition, being eliminated by PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League play-off round.
