Governor Sule Inaugurates Ultra-Modern Government Printing Press in Nasarawa

In a significant move to enhance government operations, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has commissioned a newly remodeled and state-of-the-art government printing press. The facility, now equipped with cutting-edge technology, stands as a top-tier printing hub capable of competing with leading commercial presses.

The commissioning ceremony, held at the Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism in Lafia, saw Governor Sule reaffirming the strategic role of the revamped press in streamlining official documentation and boosting the state’s printing capacity.

A New Era for Government Printing
During his address, Governor Sule issued a directive mandating all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in the state to prioritize the government printing press for their official printing needs. This initiative aims to optimize the use of state resources while ensuring quality control and confidentiality in the production of government documents.

He further instructed the Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism, along with the facility’s management, to uphold high service standards and maintain efficiency and competitiveness in their operations. To enforce compliance, the Governor directed the Head of Service to issue an official circular reinforcing the mandate for MDAs to exclusively utilize the facility.

Enhanced Security and Professionalism
Speaking to journalists at the event, the Commissioner for Information, Culture, and Tourism, Dr. Ibrahim Tanko, lauded Governor Sule for the visionary upgrade of the printing press. He emphasized the security advantages of the facility, noting that sensitive government documents could now be printed with greater confidentiality and professionalism.

Dr. Tanko assured the public that his ministry, in collaboration with the management of the printing press, would work tirelessly to maximize the facility’s potential in alignment with the Governor’s directives. The revamped printing press is expected to not only improve service delivery but also serve as a key revenue-generating asset for Nasarawa State.

With this bold initiative, Governor Sule has taken a decisive step in modernizing government processes, reinforcing efficiency, and strengthening the state’s economic prospects.
