FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SECURES HOSTING RIGHTS FOR 2026 WORLD PUBLIC RELATIONS FORUM

The Federal Government has secured the hosting rights for the 2026 World Public Relations Forum (WPRF). The announcement was conveyed to the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, by the President of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Dr. Ike Neliaku, and his delegation.

While receiving the news, Minister Idris emphasized the significance of the WPRF, describing it as a globally recognized event that brings together thought leaders in public relations and strategic communication. He expressed Nigeria’s honor in being selected as the second African country to host this prestigious gathering, highlighting that the recognition reflects the nation’s growing global influence and credibility.

In his remarks, Dr. Neliaku commended the minister for his leadership in advancing effective information management. He also revealed that Nigeria will host the Global Alliance’s 25th anniversary celebration in 2026, further reinforcing the country’s reputation as a key player in global public relations.
