Between January and February 2025, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command arrested 300 suspects and recovered a significant cache of arms, ammunition, and illegal drugs. Additionally, seven kidnappers were neutralized, and several others apprehended during these operations.

In related developments, the FCT Police Command’s Anti-Narcotics Unit conducted raids on illegal drug hotspots across Abuja, arresting eight suspects and seizing 100 rounds of live 7.62 x 39mm ammunition, a large quantity of dried leaves suspected to be cannabis, and encapsulated illicit drugs.

These concerted efforts underscore the FCT Police Command’s commitment to combating crime and ensuring the safety of residents in the Federal Capital Territory.
