Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has officially returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC), the party he once left.

Jandor, who was the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos during the 2023 general election, made the announcement at a press briefing held at Liberty Place in Ikeja, Lagos.

Earlier this month, on March 3, Jandor had publicly severed ties with the PDP, citing internal party sabotage by some leaders in Lagos State. His decision to leave the party was followed by a series of high-profile meetings with political heavyweights, including President Bola Tinubu and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

Confirming his return to the APC, Jandor explained his decision, stating:

“We have decided to join the political party that prioritizes victory, regardless of who is on the ballot. We have decided to return to the All Progressives Congress.”

Addressing concerns about his past criticisms of the APC, he added:

“Before you remind me why I left in the first place, there’s a Yoruba adage that says if a woman hasn’t married two husbands, she won’t know which one is better.”

With this move, Jandor is officially back in the ruling party, setting the stage for a new chapter in his political journey.
